Beetlejuice Gingerbread House

I love when set decoration is so good, it acts as an additional character in a film. The post-modern remodel of the iconic Maitland house in Beetlejuice is a great example of this and one of my favorite pieces of architecture in a movie. I made this gingerbread version for Halloween, keeping decoration simple so the 1980s icon would be recognizable. Made with gingerbread, vanilla spice, and sugar cookie doughs, along with crispy rice treats and isomalt.
